How to create Closed Captions

Captionizer is used to translate the original closed captions "CC" of one language to another language of your videos. Therefore before you can select the video/s to be used for this purpose - you need to generate the original closed captions first.

To create and time captions: Log in to the YouTube account you want to use in Captionizer.

Go to "More from Youtube" - "Settings"

"View Additional Features" -

"Video Manager"

and click the 'Edit' button beside to the video you want to add the closed caption.

Select the 'Subtitles and CC' tab at the top right of the screen.

In the 'Add new subtitles or CC' drop-down menu, select the language when the "Set video language" window popups. If you want this language to be set as the default language , tick the "Default for new uploads" tick box. Click on  "Set language" button to save this settings.

Once the settings are saved. You will be able to see the view below where "Published" is displayed
